$480 pw - it's no garage, it's a granny flat!

Its in kensington what do you expect you dont have to live there just move somewhere else ... i dont understand why people complain go somewhere cheaper... people always complaining about cost of living but dont wanna comprimise or do anything to help their situation we all have choices ...and continue to smoke drink do drugs buy things they dont need or get into debt cause they cant wait....its 480pw cause the house and granny flat was probably bout for like 4million..

I've been living in Kensington for the past couple of years, and for $490 pw in 2024, I managed to get a pretty decent 1-bedroom apartment with a kitchen (bloody hell!), laundry, aircon, and about double the space. A mate of mine lives practically next door to this "granny flat" and pays $600 pw (incl. all bills) for a nice 2-bedroom apartment. I could give you plenty more examples, so no, that's definitely not the norm, even for this area.
