Today I saw the Jaitkhamb of the Ramnami community which is also called Jaitkhamb like in the Satnami community Both look similar as they came from the same roots(chamar) Their founder tattooed Ram after being denied entry to a temple and people followed him

Just found out that Tewra (Lathyrus sativus) seeds were banned in India in 1961 due to health risks but the ban has been lifted now but in Chhattisgarh we have been eating its bhaji raw seeds and a curry called Batkar since childhood still I have never seen anyone here with symptoms of lathyrism
