Backyard Reno $$

We’re about to embark on a backyard renovation and looking at a 100k bill (if we keep things to plan, which is hard to do I know). It will be an oasis with a cedar hot tub and gorgeous. I know we will enjoy it, but I’m wondering how much it will raise the value of the home. I’m a first time homeowner and have no idea. What’s in its place now is truly awful and this will absolutely reimagine the space. It’s in an up and coming neighborhood in a major city and our value has already gone up over 30% in under 6 years
