What is the common opinion here about the use of pesticides and dangerous chemicals in Yerba Mate farming ?
I am always very cautious of what I consume especially considering the insanity of the politics of countries like Brazil, Paraguay (don't know about Argentina) when it comes to pesticides. So many dangerous chemicals are legal there and completely forbidden in Europe (for instance) and I do not want to risk my health.
Where can I find good data about which companies produce their Yerba either in officially Organic way or in what we can call a "reasonable" way of production ?
For now 've been drinking mostly Kraus because they have European Organic certifications but I am open minded.
