bottom front teeth hurt over a week after extraction

i had all 4 wisdom teeth out last wednesday. i thought this pain would go away by now, as i had it in my other teeth too that went away, but over a week later and my bottom front teeth still hurt. this is ESPECIALLY when i put pressure on them.
i have a permanent retainer on my bottom front teeth, could that be why?
is this normal or should i be worried?
