Two teenage girls who are ballerinas and one gets cancer and dies (I think leukemia) causing the other one to quit ballet.

I read it in the early to mid 2000s from my local library. Might have had a blue cover. At the end the living girl returns to ballet and the story closes with her instructor telling her how out of shape she has gotten as she twirls and twirls.
