Audi RS3 vs BMW M240i xDrive

Looking at getting a new fun but year round capability and both the Audi RS3 and the BMW M240i xDrive caught my eye. Price isn’t an issue but I live somewhere where the snow/roads get pretty bad in the winter. So wondering what an overall perspective between these 2 cars looks like as far as drivability in winter/handling in general/ and other features/options. And if the BMW is better do I get it now or wait till the 2026 model year for the rumored M2 xDrive? Appreciate any and all feedback.

P.S. I’m looking at these cars because they are close to the performance that my previous fun car had so I’m not interested in anything else. Just want to know between these 2. Thanks!
