Knowledge sharing - mindmap; old SRA admin creating nonprofits

Hey all! This post may be a bit lengthy, but it's important! TLDR: updated mind map for programs link below and some info on shady nonprofits run by TTI owners

First a disclaimer: I know that programs actively monitor my Reddit posts so if you comment here please be aware that your comments are likely to be read by TTI programs (yes that's true of all posts here but even more so mine because they know who I am).

WIth that out of the way, wanted to share a few things.

  1. Some of you may have seen a previous post I made where I shared a mindmap a few of us survivors have been working on. Wanted to share one of our wonderful group members has started a new, cleaner version you can find here. It is nowhere near complete but for now we are working on making the info we already have as accurate as possible. If you have something on there to correct please comment below (we are not done color coding yet so please do not see that as an error). Over time we will keep adding new programs - we have a system we're using so it doesn't get too messy like the old version but this does take some time.
  2. We have also been doing some deep dives into the different LLCs and other entities the TTI has used over time. We have come across two nonprofits currently being led by former Spring Ridge Academy CEOs that we wanted to share here for awareness. I have already reported anything I believe to be illegal with these orgs to authorities, but if you do your own digging or have more information to share on these I welcome it in my DMs (let's not tip them off further in comments). I feel comfortable sharing this here at this point because I don't think there's anything these people can do to hide their improprieties with all of the information I have already gathered and stored. These nonprofits are:
  • Change Through Knowledge (CTK) Foundation - Founded and run by Jean (Jeannie) Courtney (SRA founder and former CEO)
    • This organization has also gone by the name Change Through Action (CTA) so you will find public filings using both names
    • Based on their public tax fillings, their mission is to provide trainings/workshops/seminars just like those used in Lifespring and then WWASP and other TTI facilities (if you know Jeannie, you know this is her jam)
    • Jeannie's daughter, Tiffany Pankow, is on the board along with some other colorful characters
    • Based on tax filings, several years ago, Jeannie donated $500,000 in SRA shares to her nonprofit. A few years after that, she then provided a loan to SRA of just over $300,000 leveraging those same assets the Foundation possessed from that donation of shares. I have reported this to the appropriate authorities, but it doesn't hurt for more people to join the chours. DM if you're interested in helping bring more attention to this.
  • SavingTeens in Crisis Collaborative - also known as sharingteens.org and related to www.strugglingteens.com by their Board - Director of the Board is Suzanne (Suzie) Courtney (SRA CEO after Jeannie)
    • This nonprofit was originally founded in 2004 and funnels kids into the TTI and provides a "scholarship program" to funnel money into schools for accepting more "troubled" kids.
    • Their tax filings show a few hundred thousand dollars in assets, and so far I haven't found anything that appears to be explicitly illegal. I have not finished combing through them yet, though.
    • Their Board includes several educational consultants
    • Since Suzie has taken over, the principal address and main info for the organization is now hers - indicating she's deeply involved beyond just being Director of their Board
    • From my brief searching, the two actual "staff" do not have a background in TTI programs and likely think they're actually doing a good thing (or at least started out that way). Their ED Kelly Brown has a background in legitimate nonprofits. Their Operations Director seemingly also has a past in executive assistant roles with no TTI connection.
    • \As you can see from someone who posted just earlier today, people who attend their hike or "summer wine mixer" fundraisers don't always know where the money goes

As we deem it safe to share additional information we will. Huge shout-out to those behind the scenes helping out with this research!

One final note to SRA survivors specifically - we have found a LOT of information over the time we've been researching SRA. If anyone is interested in learning more or helping with further research please feel free to reach out. I will ask you to verify your identity to move forward with information sharing.

Thanks for reading if you made it this far!
