Transit hotel AirChina

Did anyone use Air China free transit hotel in PEK? I will arrive at PEK at 3-4 am and my next flight is at 8 pm. I wonder if I can check in the early morning or if my hotel reservation will be ready later in the afternoon or sth? Does anyone know how this works?
