It all seems connected
I feel like all my health problems are connected but maybe just a weird coincidence. So my TSH has been trending down for decades, and started dipping in and out of normal range about 7 years ago. Which would indicate im on the path to hyper. my T4 has started doing the same. So that would mean clinical hypo not hyper. Although my primary thinks it is hyper as my T4 is just barely in range.
I have always struggled with anxiety but lately my depression has been flaring up. And i am getting crazy angry anxiety attacks. I’m struggling a bit to lose weight but I am newly postpartum so hard to know if I’m just holding on to weight because I’m breastfeeding or my thyroid (idk).
I recently found out I’m predisposed to NAFD which can happen due to an under active thyroid. I found this very interesting.
My cholesterol is also really high! This can be a symptom of NAFD as well as hypothyroidism.
Lastly I found out I’m also predisposed for AFib which can also be due to an under active thyroid.
To me I feel there has to be a connection. But I could be wrong as not everything is hyper or hypo symptoms. I’m scheduled to talk with a surgeon for a TT. I read that your pathology post TT can show possibly what some of the drivers for your wonky thyroid could be. So that will be good. I feel it could really help me post tt life if I could get more answers.
