PT last week, now may need TT(?)

I am 63 and had PT (right lobe) last week. Just received the pathology report and hope to discuss with my surgeon tomorrow. While all of the examined lymph nodes (6) were completely clean, the report notes "microscopic extrathyroidal extension," and "the tumor extends to the posterior margin." It was also noted as papillary carcinoma ("usual, conventional, with tall cell component"). Anyone have the same? Did you end up having to go back and remove the rest of the thyroid?
