The Spike: My opinion about each character and how to use it properly.

Here, I'll be trying to give a quick summary of all the characters (S- to S+) in the game and an example of how to use them.

S-

Leon: Hard to use, but usable if you are new. Has a specific mechanic that only works properly if you have Viola. And that is, the farther you are from the net, the stronger your spike, and the closer, the weaker.

Viola: Absolute L if you aren't using Leon. Okay, her breakthroughs are an absolute cheat, but still not worth it (Her sets are far from the net and recover a bit of stamina).

Yoonseok: Eh, very very mid. His skill isn't even worth it and doesn't have enough stats to save himself. His feint is quicker but as I said, not enough to save him (He makes the opponents more likely to get careless).

Minjun: Maybe the best S-, has a good jump, height... His attack is low, but his skill can be useful (it makes his spikes curve mid air, making it fall suddenly, spin increases the more you breakthrough him).

Sodam: Well, you can use her if you don't have an S setter, but better than Viola in general. Nice stats and has a 5% chance to make your team engaged if you concede a point (Although the chance is higher the more you breakthrough her).

S

Youngsup: The freshies favorite, definitely a solid character, with good jump and attack, can carry you for a good amount of time, good for basically any mode.

Heesung: Like Youngsup, a good choice for new players, due to his stats and his skill Absolute Block. Is mid if played by the bot, can be deadly if you control him.

Seolhwa: Very good setter, high tosses, high attack power in serve and an unblockable surprise attack. Solid in any mode.

OASIS: The strongest S player, but, of course, comes with a price. You need your ass to be beaten up to 6 points so he starts to get boom jump and decent attack. Bad for story mode, Coliseum, but can be good in tournament (especially if you have Hanra)

Lisia: very good setter as well, has a deadly serve, very high tosses, crazy defense and speed. Can be used in any situation, but is better in Colosseum and story mode Act 3 (I think Summer Splash is 3).

Jaehyun: Good, has great base status, especially when his skill is active (your team stamina needs to be 30% or lower), gets more jump and attack power, solid in any mode.

Sanghyeon: Absolute meta in every team before Hanra came in, best buff in the game, solid defense, speed, attack and jump, can be used anywhere.

Ayeon: Not much famous, but usable anyway, with focus on defense status, has a preference to set to the Mb and most times won't be able to get her skill active. (She needs to bump the first ball)

NN: Probably the best setter in the game, has absurdly good sets, can set from basically anywhere without affecting the quality of the set, can put pressure with his strength and a solid blocker with his jump.

Atis: Lazy ahh, everyone downgrades bro but he is actually a monster, can earn easy aces and block without difficult, despite having that slower slide and all, very recommended if playing as Mb or just too lazy to spike yourself.

Roberto: I don't have much experience with him, tbh, but can be letal if you are playing as Mb, his skill makes him stronger and gives him more jump each time he blocks successfully (doesn't need to be a point for him to gain)

Isabel: best defense in the game, her fully charged parry can be hella strong, but like any other character that relies on receiving, if your stamina is low, womp womp.

Sohee: Okay, Sohee can be a bit controversial, while she is good if you are playing as Ryuheyon or Nishikawa, there are still better options. But the fact that she works with any character makes her solid in any team. Her skill makes the set fall slower by the way, has a really short cooldown.

Yamadera: Nice Mb, if you are struggling with defending, he is the guy! If he receives, the last opponent that touched the ball will return to ape level and will have his skills reduced MASSIVELY.

Hanra: Okay Suncyan, you managed to create a broken character. Best combination for OASIS, has a broken spike that bypasses blocks, her serve is strong, she jumps high, has an insane defense... And will come to my account in the next event if God allows.

Muyeong: Very good setter, again, there aren't any bad setters in the game actually. Has some broken sets that you exploit, like setting to the opponent's side and you still being able to hit it. His ability is very good too, being able to summon a bubble when he bumps (Suncyan has a thing for setter that doesn't actually set, crazy), the bubble attaches to whoever touches it and buffs their defense.

S+

Ryuheyon: Poor boy, must be hard to be a S+ with Nishikawa to rival. While yes, he is good, strong as hell and can pretty much ignore the block, he is filled with flaws, such as a cooldown to use, low jump, and lack of other abilities.

NISHIKAWA: The GOAT, best player in the game by far. Has multiple abilities, like being able to spike a secone time before falling, quick feint (Ryu has it as well btw), his 4+ meters spikes bypasses slides, op attack, op jump, best choice in basically ANY situation (Without any flaw aside from charging his jump).

I GUESS THAT'S ALL, I'm open to your ideas, but remember that this is MY PERSONAL OPINION. Don't go to the comments shouting how I'm crazy and how ur favorite character didn't get their 'deserved attention'.
