The Sopranos: Finale/Ending-Made in America= Scary

Maybe it is just me, but does anyone else think that the ending is scary as hell? The way the music and the scene just stops, the hard cut to black and the 10 seconds silence before the credits are shown, and then, still silence throughout the whole credits. It just freaks me out. I know it is not 100% confirmed by David Chase but let's just assume that tony got shot by the members-only jacket guy and then just blackness, nothingness. It just ended. It makes my skin crawl. I love the ending but it scares me more than some horror movies.
