Is there anything Beach Boys related I could go to in Sacramento or San Francisco?

My family’s taking a trip to California and those are the cities we’re gonna go to at the moment. I thought about suggesting Hawthorn, but I think that’s about six hours away. Is there anything else within a reasonable distance?
