Thoughts on getting a lightning tattoo?

I was thinking about getting a lightning tattoo but held off on it because now I’m second guessing if I really want it.

The two pictures above are from a local tattoo artist that have done these two pieces, not sure if they’ve done more, but this is all that is posted. Im showing them because I don’t have many options when it comes to tattoo artists in my area. Overall, the pictures are basically just showing people what would probably be the outcome if I were to go to them for the tattoo. (I am mainly trying to get a similar tattoo to the second one)

Moving on, referring to the photos, many close friends and family have told me that it looks like lightning. Others, on the other hand, have been somewhat truthful. Telling me that it looks like cracks, veins, a zombie virus, branches, and so on. I didn’t see how the tattoo could look like anything but lightning, until I really thought about it and now I can’t unsee it. Especially since the lady in the second picture tattoo lines thickened after healing, giving it a shattered, crack look to it.

In all honesty, I just want an unbiased opinion, straight up, no beating around the bush. I know that at the end of the day it’s my choice, but I also like other people’s input. So please don’t hold back on what you think, especially on the second image cause that’s what I’m going to go off of.
