Ballarat or Launceston?

old men and technology, so i hope i have this is right...and this post works...my job has neared its end, and its time to buy a small property,not a flat if i can help it, .looking at a two bed place in either Ballarat or Launceston, ..these are my choices i have ummmed and ahhh ed over....but id like to hear from those, who have lived in either for some options, which to help my choice...Thanks
