Late Seasons Moving Quick

It's my first time watching suits. I've noticed in the earlier seasons (1-3) they move with normal cases each episode and then once in a few EPS they have some big plot line. Now I'm watching season 4 & 5 and I've noticed it has important plot lines every episode and it's a little overwhelming if that makes sense? I don't know if I didn't notice it in the early season of what. Just curious about other peoples opinions? Tbf I've been moving through this show very quickly so that may affect it.
