lost coins?

Back in 2023 just when Sui launched I bought some and staked it (have no memory of how much or anything really) but I do have 12 words to access the wallet. The problem is that it shows that there are 0 funds and that there have never been transactions. I used Sui mobile app to check the wallet and suivision to check chain.
what could be the reason for it to show 0 balance? (I'm 100% sure I had some and pretty sure I staked it) any advice on what to do or are the funds just lost (its probably not a lot of money but still would be nice to recover)
