Want to sound like a well-read software engineer.

I'm beginning my job as a software engineer soon and I read a lot. However, I avoid the news because it stresses me out a lot. I'm looking for some pop-sci books, especially if they're related to current technology; biographies or memoirs from people big in the tech or business world; and generally anything that will make me sound well-read in a conversation with another software engineer. Right now all I read is YA fantasy (which I love!) so help me expand my horizons please :)
