Today I officially got sad
So yeah, app is crap, etc. Haven't had as many issues as most people, but it's been ok for the most. Also on beta program to help sort it out for the issues and feedback I wanna share.
The reason I am sad today, is I walk into the kitchen (which has a Sonos 5) and my wife is listening to music on her iPhone 15 whatever.
Ask her why she is not listening on the sonos. She asks if it works, she had issues on her app? I never tried iOS recently , but did setup the new app for her. She just told me it's crap so just decided to use her phone.
We ate breakfast listening to the music on her phone. I didn't bother trying to switch to the 5.
This SONOS is who you have alienated across the world !!! My wife is a 12 year old customer who bought the first Sonos product for our house, who is not a techie at all , and you made it difficult for her to do what she has always done - wanting to listen to music while cooking on her off day but couldn't...

FWIW, The iPhone 15 (she got the best of the best if I recall) has some serious sound - I was rather impressed (still not a Sonos 5)
Anyway, don't know how many people are feeling the way my wife is, and just not bothered to chat on social media about it.
I don't think SONOS can put a monetary value on the goodwill they have lost.
Anyway, no need to reply .just needed to get it off my chest
