Solar companies suggesting tax fraud

Why are solar companies still suggesting bundling reroofing with the solar for the federal credit? I’m tired of having to educate them on the tax code…

They are basically suggesting customers to commit tax fraud. I think a lot of sales people are very unfamiliar with the tax code
