Annoyed with reddit’s culture

I got banned from another sub for “harassment.” Because I commented something in support of transgender people, and someone saw a transphobic post I made from a long time ago, when I used to be transphobic. They said I was trolling and not being genuine, and cussed at me. I replied and said it’s actually possible to change your mind on an issue. And then the person apparently reported me for harassment and I got banned for that. Never been so confused. It was one of the big main subs, not a smaller one.

I see people calling each other disingenuous and saying they’re in bad faith all the time when people have not even done anything to suggest that. I feel like people on here just have the disposition to immediately be angry at you.

Anyway, this event was kind of the last straw and has inspired me to stop using reddit. I tried to delete all my posts/comments, and I will be deleting the app after posting this. I will not log in again unless I really need to

I don’t know why I’m posting anything when I’m never going to see any of the comments. I guess this is just a dumb rant and I felt like sending it out somewhere
