[RIVAL WATCH] Can we please talk about how ridiculous this petition to get Owen fired is?

So as some of you might have heard, there is an actual petition on Change.org addressed to the Liverpool FC Board to sack Michael Owen from his post as their International Ambassador for Football Affairs.

Why, you ask? Solely because he referred to Man United as 'we' in one of his pundit shows. I mean... It was an honest mistake, at worst? Surely doesn't mean the man has to lose his job?

But nope. They've racked up over 20,000 signature to date. TWENTY THOUSAND!

I guess they want him to walk alone, after all.
