Am I the only one that loves this trade?

Let me start by saying I love Chytil, one of the first players I was able to watch be drafted and developed in my time as a fan. Constantly defended him and rooted for him, bought Chytil gear etc.

He is a question mark every time he steps on the ice. 1 hit can be it, we thought it would over a year ago. Im okay with giving him up here for a player like Miller. The 1st is top 13 protected as well. Mancini had to be included instead of Schneider.

JT Miller is a 100 point talent, only costs 8M (4M more than Chytil) and makes our forward core scary. I can see him catapulting multiple players into better seasons. Gives Mika room to feast on worse players, opens Trocheck line to similar opportunities. He has his own line that he's the guy on. iMO its 3 lines that have crazy potential.

His NMC turns into an M-NMC in 2 years.

In my opinion this changes the tide of the season. We can all be upset about Chytil like we were about Kakko (2 of my favorite players ever).... But this is huge for us.

With the salary cap rocketing by over $25m after the next 2 seasons, Miller's cap hit will be the equivalent of around $6.1m right now (7% of cap). That's not bad for a 100pt scorer lol.

Edit: Vancouver fans hate this trade, so theres that for us.
