How to place items that disassemble into 2 pieces eg ice freezer on steam deck?

I have only ever played on steam deck so I'm unsure of the original pc controls to place an item that comes in 2 pieces? Just to be clear I mean the big shelves, ice freezer and things like that

Had anyone ever managed it on steam deck?
