Cost of a pool
I've read that cost of a pool yearly is between 5-8k. That usually includes insurance increase, electricity, water, maintenance, and chemicals.
Our pool salesman, said it's 1800 for chlorine or 1200 if we opt for salt for chemicals and that should electricity. Our insurance said we have enough coverage currently as long as we don't get a diving board or slide.
We're still missing things like all the upfront costs of things like tools for the pool and some storage solution our HOA would approve of, but outside of water do the chemical numbers seem right from the pool guy? It just seems low. I get that there's larger replacements throughout the lifetime of the pool, just wanted to have a good understanding of what we're getting into.
