Should I remove my nipple piercings??

I’ve had them for about two years now and I love how they look, they do help me fell more confident, the problem is that they really hurt when they get touched by anything. I have talked to my piercer about this and after evaluating the case, she said they’re healing well and it is just a sensibility issue on my end. I really love them, but they get really annoying and hurt most of the time. Should I keep them or remove them? Do you have any advice?
