Those of you who have had belly button piercings…

Those of you who have had belly button piercings that rejected over time, were you ever able to repierce it and have luck the second time around? I’m thinking of getting my belly button repierced after retiring it years ago cuz it rejected. I’m wondering if it’s worth trying again, or if it would be very likely to just reject again?
