Have over 30k saved, what should I do with it?

I have over $30k saved in total, with 9k in my checking account, and 22k in an investment account. I make around 65k per year with good benefits. and have been at my position for over a year. Currently I'm living with my parents in nj but I've been thinking for over a year to move out and rent a studio apartment to live alone or at the least, renting with roommates, but i haven't found a good value for a unit yet. I dunno what to invest in stocks yet, and don't really have a good idea how much I should be spending on rent and things when moving out. I've been told before it's not a good idea to move out and live on my own, but it's always been a dream of mine to do so, and I want to do so by next year. Also I'm not really sure if 22k is enough to put in my investment account?
