How do I get a haircut similar to Makoto Yuki's without showing the hairstylist a picture of a video game character?

I wouldn't mind showing a picture, except I don't want to be annoying because I'm aware that it's unrealistic and probably difficult to pull off especially since my hair is curlier but I am so curious if it's possible and if it would even look good in real life.
