GDM Off 2T vs GDM On a 5600x 3800Mbps
Hi everyone, I've been struggling to understand how I should actually behave with my Ram.
It's a Dual Rank 2x16GB Hynix DJR.
I currently have 2 different setups, they both ran 800-900% Memtest HCI and 3 cycles of absolut on TM5, 1900MHz on the FCLK/UCLK seems stable, ran 2 hours of y-cruncher full tests, 30 cycles of Linpack 10GB, CPU+RAM On OCCT, the first setup also saw P95 Large, didn't try P95 on the GDM Off.
Before anything else, I know that tRP is different and tRAS is 21 (those 2 scl changes nothing as well, I tried), from what I heard from Buildzoid tRAS is basically "useless" in this case so I was just playing with that, shouldn't make a single difference in this case and results don't change when switching those timings up.
My "problem" here is that I get consistently better latency on Aida (I shave off something like 1.5ns), better results on PYPrime 2B (around 0.400s), better results on y-cruncher test 2.5b (even though they get kinda close), in gaming I basically can't tell so far.
From what I heard, GDM On should be faster than GDM Off 2T, so I don't fully know what's going on here, if anything my GDM Off is even just a tad looser with timings.
Didn't run 1T command, seems a bit hard to post and make it stable
