Allpa 35 vs Osprey farpoint 40

I'm trying to decide between these two packs for my future one bagging experience. My current backpack is not comfortable, makes terrible use of space (top is a narrow closure so really I can only fit one large packing cube and a small toiletry bag in it. I am fairly good at one bagging, and have done two different month long vacations this way. However, this summer I will be visiting both Fiji and the South Island of New Zealand, where there will be dramatically different climates to pack for. Allpa looks better for organization, osprey looks like it's more comfortable for sustained walking/wearing. While I will not likely be hiking in it, I have been in the situation before where I had to be out of my Airbnb in the morning, spent the day in whatever city I'm in, and flown out in the evening. I feel like even with my current backpack, that wasn't a big deal. The only concern I have with the osprey is that it is just a touch too tall for the carryon measurements for the flights I will be taking (by 3 cm I think). I can tell there is structure to the pack, but is it super rigid? Will I be able to compress it at all in that direction?

Which would you get?
