Offers

How are offers made with the state? I read another post that made me a little weary if I ever am fortunate enough to receive one. Sounded like it’s all verbal, sometimes right in the interview.

Are they verbal or in writing? Do you get information about benefits, screenings, and start date?

I wouldn’t want to say yes on the phone or face to face to find out later it wasn’t official or something didn’t line up as I thought and then put in my notice with my current job.
