Let it be resolved: "Daily-driving a motorcycle is cheaper than driving a car"

Ive kinda heard around that apparently its a myth that driving a motorcycle is cheaper than driving a car.

Like you have to deal with maintenance, it needing a ton of parts swapped out or itll be completely inoperable, etc.

Like that could be just a massive cope for motorists who dont drive Japanese bikes like Hondas or Suzukis.

But regardless though. Say you lived in a city and you had options between a motorcycle and car, which one would be more cost effecient?

I also wanna add other factors that might make riding one over the other unsuitable apart from economic factors: like parking regulations, comfort (though this can be subjective), relative danger compared to driving a motorbike or a car, etc.
