Sleep/Wake power issues - none otherwise- HALP

I have little idea what I'm doing but making progress- i atleast stopped breaking it.

Now on a fresh install with my Asus Pro WS z890 ACE SE motherboard (which doesn't offer support yet for it) and the only continuing issue i can't resolve is how it will always encounter some issue often around shutting down or sleeping.

I checked the fpanel connectors again as they are separated but I'm thinking this is more due to the updates for ME Intel that I can't run - they have a power delivery firmware update too

Asus engineers said they will respond to my ticket soon and until then I'm shamefully hard resetting with ChatGPT as my aid.

Any help from those more used to the environment than I?

Everything else is optimal btw - reading correctly staying cool, etc.
