Tried uninstalling Windows 10, but it broke my Linux Mint booting?
Tried following a guide on how to use OS-uninstaller to delete my Windows 10 OS, but it glitched out, icons started to disappear and i was forces to reload after everything froze. Now, anytime i try to launch it, it gets stuck in GRUB and i found no way to get back into Linux Mint. After a bit of troubleshooting, i found i could actually get into windows 10 via BIOS, so now im even more confused about what went wrong.
Specifically, tried to do the whole setting my linux mint partition as the root then typing in normal to try and get back, but it fails
My data is fine, I have it backed up, but i have no idea what to do or how to proceed now. Do I try another clean install? Maybe there is a way to fix it via just using a live USB? Please, any and all help is appreciated
quick edit: using the most recent version, 22.1 Cinnamon
Solved: Thank you all for the advice. I fixed it by booting up another Live USB and then for the install, choosing to format my entire disk. Keep your data backed up everyone, it is worth it
