Are you finding it nearly impossible to get a job? I would like to hear your thoughts.

Hello!

I am a reporter for CBC News. I would like to hear from people who have sent out countless job applications and/or stood hours in line to apply for a job.

We saw an example of lineups at Frederick mall this weekend and even longer lineups before that outside of a McDonald's in Kitchener.

I'm sure many of you are applying to jobs online as well, through LinkedIn, etc.

If this sounds like something you're going through right now, I want to know: what has your job search been like?

How long have you been waiting to get a job?

Roughly how much time have you spent applying and how many jobs have you applied to?

Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts in the comments with no strings attached. I may reach out later and ask to chat more over the phone -- but I won't use anything from the comment section without your permission!

I'm looking for a variety of voices, which includes international students, high school students or new graduates.

You can also reach me directly by sending me a DM or email me at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) if you'd like to chat for news purposes!
