Share your experience with public transports

Hi everyone! i hope you all are doing well. So my university is starting next week, and my father has arranged a paid bus for me which the uni provides itself. And honestly I've never traveled in any public transport ever, my father can't pick and drop me cuz he has office at that time. Every day we see those harassment cases with women in public transports which makes me even more scared of traveling alone.
