Ways to keep getting music to my iPod

I've been using an iPod nano 7th gen for about a year and I really like it, however I've been using my parent's computer and apple music account to get the music on there. They burned a lot of CD's onto it and there's around 2100 songs on my iPod. I'm going away to college next year which means I'm going to be away from home, and I was just wondering if any of you knew how I would keep adding music to it. I've tried logging in on my computer, but the library isn't there and we've apparently authorized too many computers. I also don't really want to spend tons of hours and thousands of dollars trying to buy every song on a new apple music account. Any advice?
