Future of doctors in India is looking extremely bleak

Recently with the announcement of the establishment of 10000 medical seats in the next year and 75000 seats in the next 5 years I have begun to question the validity of the medical degree. There seems to be no efforts in increasing the post graduate seats thereby increasing the competition for postgraduate. With nearly half the seats being reserved and the increasing competition it seems like the future for doctors seems bleak. Despite the intense competition even if a person does get a seat the job market will eventually get saturated as well and it is getting really difficult to settle in a tier 1 city leading to people moving away from families to settle in tier 2 or tier 3 cities.

All this made me wonder apart from usmle(the extremely intense competition there as well) are there any other options for mbbs graduates. Australia seems like a good option but I have no clue how the medical licensing exam works over there. So are there any other options for first generation doctors.
