DT 770 Pro Slider replacement- DIY scrap timber

Like many DT 770 Pro owners, I had the plastic slider break. I mucked around with some 3D printed ones, but they only seem to last a couple of days before breaking (might be the quality of ABS I"m using).

Thought I'd try something a bit different with some timber I had lying around in the shed. After a bit of chiseling, sanding and some bees wax, I now have sliders that will never break. They are probably a bit chunky for some people's tastes, but I'm happy with it.
