Travel after I get selected in the H1b lottery

Hi all,

I’m going to graduate this May and my employer said they would include me in the h1b lottery this Spring. I’m also going to apply for OPT to get my EAD.

But I’m planning to have my wedding outside of the US on June 30th.

In this case, if I get my H1b approval before I leave the states, can I re-enter with my F-1 OPT and EAD? And how long does it take to receive H1b approval?

I realized that H1b petition deadline is June 30th so I might not be able to apply for it after I return to the states.

I’m also going to confirm with our lawyer but I wanted to hear from you guys if it’s possible to return to the states after I’ve received my H1b approval with my OPT and EAD before Oct 1st.

Is there also other ways if I can have my wedding on June 30th?
