Becoming a GIT (Geologist in Training)

So I've been working for a geotechnical firm for almost half a year now and I want to get this exam out of the way and become a licensed geologist in the future. (Washington State)

Do you guys have any suggestions on what to study and refresh on for the Fundamentals of Geology exam?

Unsurprisingly the .gov site has zero guidance on what needs to be known beside some sample questions. Thanks in advance fellow rockers. The next exam is in October so I've got plenty of time to ace this bad boy.
