Trying to identify this species of frog

Can anyone give me an idea on what type of frog this is. I was recently cleaning out a very old shed and found him half dead. The best I could do at the time was put him in some water. When I got home I threw him in a 10 gallon I had with some plants and coconut fiber he’s able to stick to glass so I’m guessing he is some type of tree frog just trying to figure out more so I know if I would be able to keep him as a pet or jsut let him go
