Horde cav stacks OP?

So I've been attempting an Oirat ironman run for a few achievement's recently, and I see the insane cav combat ability buffs in their traditions and national ideas, which seems very enticing, but how good are cav stacks long term? Will cav arty stacks work against unchecked late-mid game Ottomans?
