A Lightweight eBike for My Commute?

I've been researching eBikes for weeks now, and honestly, I'm overwhelmed. There are so many options, and I'm trying to find one that's good for my commute but doesn't break the bank. I'm also kind of picky—lightweight would be great because I don't want to deal with a super bulky bike.

I've seen some buzz about the MapFour here, so I googled it. It caught my attention with its carbon fiber frame, 100 km range, and GPS tracking. But I'm wondering if it's just hype. Has anyone else gone through this? How did you finally choose your eBike?
