My dog sleeps on my side of the bed...

Hi folks, new member here.

I've had a Springer Spaniel for 3 years and whenever I get up in the morning to go to work he immediately moves over to where I was lying and sleeps.

Any reason for this behaviour? It doesn't bother me in the slightest but would be good to understand if this is normal dog behaviour.
