im kinda over ben johnson
look, im not blaming the loss on ben johnson, we scored 31 points, this was primarily a failure defensively. thats not what i wanted to talk about. i’ve accepted that ag and ben johnson are gone, if not, fine, but at this point, we might need to pivot from ben johnson’s play style. these long bombs downfield off of play action dont work nearly as well when you do them 50 times a game every game. good teams learn from them and take advantage off of them. i think goff can learn not to take so many chances but it starts with the oc. its kind of a win win situation imo. if johnson stays, great, we have a proven, elite playcaller that helped us have the best ppg itl and we dont have to take a chance on someone. if he leaves, also great, we get a new, exciting oc that has a different playstyle, maybe a different mentality, it might suit goff more, who knows. i have my issues with ben johnson so him leaving might not be the worst thing in the world
