Laptop servicing concern

Recently my laptop's screen died suddenly while I was updating my CV. I went Asus service people couple of months ago with same problem and they said it will take 45,000Rs for the repair. (I own Asus Scar III). Then magical my laptop worked on its own.

Today it died again, I booked urban company guy to fix my laptop and he is saying he has to take the laptop with him to his shop. I am very doubtful on that. He is saying he needs to fix the motherboard, and check all....he also mentioned, " Sir aapke saamne karne main bhi hum takleef hoga".

What should I do? I don't have money to buy a new laptop which supports my work, Asus Service center guy, I know he is gonna say 45K again ... Any help will be most appreciated 🙌🏼

**My screen definitely works with an HDMI cable...but for my work I need a dual screen setup....
