Attribute point requirements increased after update?

I was playing through the mission “dont lose your mind” and at the end of it, I couldnt do the choice I wanted which was to merge Delamain’s personalities as I needed 20 intelligence. However when looking online on walkthroughs, they mentioned how you only need 10 intelligence to achieve this ending to the mission? my V has 14 intelligence which really annoys me as I could have got the ending I wanted… I assume this is the updates fault

Has this update just increased the requirement for attribute points for certain actions/dialogue choices?
